The 2026 Annual Meeting of the PEPR FORESTT will take place from September 28 to October 2, 2026, in Avignon. Save the dates in your calendar and stay tuned!

Dear colleagues,

The FORESTT programme team is pleased to invite you to the 2026 PEPR scientific meeting, to be held from September 28 to October 2.

After two previous editions in Bordeaux and Montpellier, the FORESTT community will gather this year in Avignon for four days of discussions and reflection around the programme’s research projects, and more broadly on cross-cutting issues related to the transition of forest socio-ecosystems in the context of global change.

Programme

The programme will include:

  • Workshops on topics shared by the various projects (open to all, Tuesday 29 September afternoon),
  • Two plenary days (open to all, Wednesday, September 30 and Thursday, October 1), including in particular :
    • Updates on the programme,
    • First key results from the targeted projects,
    • Selected presentations aimed at sharing recent syntheses of relevance to FORESTT’s work,
    • Several round tables on integrative themes, in connection with the programme’s challenges and stakeholder expectations,
  • A poster session (Wednesday, September 30, late afternoon), during which projects initiated within the FORESTT programme and their first results will be presented in greater detail,
  • A photographic exhibition:
    Fascinating Old-Growth Forests: An Initiatory Journey through Occitania” (a deliverable of the OCCIGEN project).
  • Annual meetings of the targeted projects (internal meetings, Monday 28 September afternoon, Tuesday 29 September morning and Friday 2 October).
