Arbre tortueux dans une forêt de feuillus

Interinstitutional committee

The Inter-Institutional Committee (C2I) has a co-decision role, directly linked to the Executive Committee (COMEX). It brings together institutions representing the main national research organizations and higher education and research establishments heavily involved in forest research in France and tropical areas (INRAE, CIRAD, CNRS, IRD, UM, UL, APT, IGN, ONF, CNPF). Chaired by INRAE, the directors general of these various institutions (or their representatives) make decisions regarding the strategic orientations of the program. They meet annually to define, prioritize, and validate the scientific orientations proposed by the Executive Committee (such as changes in scientific strategy, prioritization of actions, or resource allocation). They ensure that these orientations align with the strategies of their institutions and serve the scientific community as a whole. Their decisions are based not only on the proposals of the Executive Committee but also on the opinions expressed by the Stakeholder Committee.
